Sales Analyst Required in Dubai
This position is responsible for daily routine tasks from the sales department in Dubai office: such as documentation, liaison with finance team, sales reports, monthly performance, vessel nominations and other back up and support.
Key Accountabilities
Liaise, negotiate and manage the planning, nomination, laydays and laytime of shipments from both Tubarao and Sohar with the Vale Shipping and Scheduling Department in Switzerland and Shipping Departments in Brazil and Sohar.
Liaise, negotiate and manage the long-term contracts/addendums and documents (i.e. invoices, customs clearance, etc.) with the Vale Contracts Administration Department in Switzerland in Vale in order to create legal protection for Vale and to meet the demand and requirements of the clients.
Liaise, negotiate and manage the L/C payment process with the Vale Trade Finance Team in Malaysia in order to lower the cost of and risk of payment for Vale and to meet the demand and requirements of the clients.
Liaise, negotiate and manage the credit risk and payment terms with the Vale Risk Team in Switzerland in order ensure that payments are received by Vale in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost to meet the demand and requirements of the clients.
Establish, maintain and distribute various and regular information and reports for the Dubai Sales and Office teams, which helps in monitoring sales performance and also effectively plan and strategize a sales action plan in order to increase future sales at the most profitable price and conditions for Vale.
Main challenges
Manage the sales of Direct Reduction Iron Ore Products to a portfolio of current and potential steel companies in Middle East, North Africa and Malaysia to achieve the objectives of the company in the region, maximize and exceed targeted profitability and secure and grow future sales.
Ensure that all required custom clearance and commercial documents are ready and in good order especially from Sohar port where voyage time to client disport can be less than 2 days.
Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or Finance.
Technical expertise and knowledge of macroeconomics and freight fundamentals and products.
Problem solver, team player and organized.
