Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef de Partie located at Hampstead Bakery and Cafe in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing a particular section of the kitchen and its assigned staff. The Chef de Partie will collaborate with the head chef to develop menu items, maintain inventory and hygiene standards, and train and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff. The Chef de Partie role also involves the occasional creation of new dishes and menus.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie hot kitchen, or a similar role in a professional kitchen environment
Proficient in culinary techniques and cooking styles including baking, roasting, sautéing, frying, and grilling
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and preparation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekendsf
