JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Acquire and manage new business accounts in your specified channels;
· Develop sales strategies to achieve set targets;
· Make calls and generate leads using existing contacts and building new ones;
· Prepare and make sophisticated presentations to customers;
· Support the sales manager in managing existing accounts and relationships;
· Work with the sales manager in participating in tenders and generating new key accounts;
· Acquire continuously knowledge about the products and solutions sold;
· Educate and train customers on the use of products and solutions offered;
· Identify opportunities for growing sales with existing accounts;
· Prepare regular reports outlining progress in leads and projects;
· Coordinate with Operations team to ensure order fulfillment/service issues are addressed;
· Monitor market trends and make recommendations.
· Perform other tasks assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in outside sales role in HORECA
· Must have been a role where he/she generated alone sales of at least USD 400,000 per year;
· Experience with key accounts in hospitality is a big plus;
· Experience in the coffee/beverages industry is a plus;
· Must hold a bachelor’s degree;
· Computer literate (Excel, Word, PPT for reports);
· Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills including well spoken English;
· Perform effectively despite challenging deadlines and changing priorities;
· Proven ability to study leads, analyze, and make great pitches;
· Highly reliable self-starter; can be counted on to complete assignments on time;
· Team player. Excellent attitude with a can-do personality;
· Presentable and able to comfortably meet and speak with sophisticated customers.
REPORTING LINE: This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.
Target customers: Cafes and Restaurants
Target area: Sharjah, Ajman, UAQ, RAK and Fujairah
